| James Kerby was born in 1983
and educated in Grantham, until gaining a place at Chetham's School
of Music in Manchester at the age of ten. He gained a place in the National
Youth Orchestra and, in 2001, was awarded a scholarship to study under
Richard Watkins and Michael Thompson at the Royal Academy of Music in
London. In 2002, James played in the Academy Symphony Orchestra at Buckingham
Palace for the Queen's Jubilee celebration in front of a live audience
of 12,000 and some 350 million television viewers! He has also appeared
as soloist with the Academy Orchestra, as well as with Elton John at
the Royal Opera House in London. |
