Webmaster

This website was conceived and, until recently, executed and maintained by the NSO timpanist, Sheri Rutland. Sheri has new commitments and has had to relinquish her position as Webmaster. The orchestra owes her an enormous debt of gratitude for the astonishing number of hours that she has spent bringing meticulous attention to detail, skill in designing and infectious enthusiasm to her creation. Here is Sheri's endearing welcoming message:



Hello! My name is Sheri Rutland and I am the Principal Timpanist with the NSO. I have been playing with the orchestra since 1982 and feel immensely proud of our achievements; it's a great time to come and join us! Devising this website was a new venture for me and has provided an absorbing opportunity to combine an interest in computing with my passion for music.

It is hoped that the NSO can sustain the high standards set by Sheri!
