Explore the world of dance with us with an afternoon of orchestral favourites filled with melody, colour and rhythmic energy.

Our  concert opens with Fauré's Pavane, a graceful and elegant work that remains one of the composer's most beloved creations.

Ravel's Boléro follows, immortalized by Torvill and Dean in their iconic Olympic routine, it builds from a simple rhythmic pattern to one of the most thrilling climaxes in orchestral music.

Tchaikovsky's well known and loved Capriccio Italien brings vibrant folk melodies and festive spirit to the programme.

Our concert concludes with Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances, his final major work, combining brilliant orchestration, powerful rhythms and some of his most memorable musical ideas in a richly rewarding symphonic masterpiece!
