Embrace the start of Summer with us at our final concert of the season! Previously scheduled to be at St Nicholas Chapel, this concert

will now take place at the Corn Exchange, King's Lynn​

​

Not only is it our final concert of the season, but also our last with
Steve Bingham before he moves to Scotland and pastures new.
We begin with Brahms’ well-loved set of variations on a
theme of Haydn...the St Anthony Chorale.
Steve Bingham will then perform with the orchestra as
soloist in one of his personal favourites from the violin repertoire.
Scène de Ballet by Charles Auguste de Bériot represents scenes
from an imaginary ballet, a ‘flight of fancy’.
Steve then returns to conduct the NSO for the final time,
as our afternoon concludes with one of Beethoven’s most beloved
works...his Symphony No. 6 in F Major Pastoral.
It brings the sounds of nature to life and with it the joy, peace,
beauty and wonder of the countryside.
