Join us for a sensational concert, opening with Rossini's lively and dramatic Overture from La Gazza Ladra. Canteloube will then transport us to the rustic charm of the Auvergne region. His collection of folk songs, beautifully orchestrated for voice and orchestra, will be brought to life by the wonderful Katy Thomson.

Katy's uniquely warm tone and her captivating stage presence are increasingly in demand on operatic stages and recital platforms across the UK and we are delighted that she will be joining us as our soloist for this performance.

Lastly, Mahler's enchanting Symphony No. 4, often described as serene and ethereal, takes us on a spiritual journey with its heavenly themes and evocation of childlike innocence. We will be joined again by soprano Katy Thomson for the fourth movement, which portrays a vision of heavenly bliss and the joys of life after death.
